Introduction

Name computer came from the word computer which means that to do mathematical operations. In ancient time there was no device to do calculation about anything. So there was need of some calculation machine.   

Our ancestors used different methods to do calculations like they wanted to calculate the number of goats so they picked up the pebbles equal to the number of goats so by comparing the tables and the goats they used to perform their calculation. 

To overcome this problem some scientists invented the device to do calculations. This is a computer came into being to role over the technology. 

Charles Babbage design analytical engine upon the design of analytical engine computer is based. Computer is not invention of a single person, this is the contribution of many different scientists. But the transmission of pictures and videos could not be made. There came revolution in the field of computer, with the passage of time different scientists worked on the structure of computer and there made it small enough because the first computer made in almost the place of room.

The work of scientist on computer did not complete in just one year the work on computer is still going on. There are different types of computer starting from desktop to mainframe and supercomputer.

Laptops are also the form of computer, they are portable having a battery inside. Computer different generation that generation according to the time. The colossus was the first electric programmable computer that was created by Tommy Flowers in 1943. It means that this was only the computer which was Programmable according to the requirement. Atanasoff Berry computer short as ABC was created by John Vincent Atanasoff. The ABC was electrical computer that had used more than vacuum tubes more than 300 digital computation. ABC head CPU that was non Programmable.

Microcomputers also the computer but they are much tiny and small in size but they do work as the common computer performs its tasks. Mobile phones and smartphones are the forms of micro computers . 

This is how the revolution came in the field of computers. With the hard work of many scientists, the computer have got a reputation and status.
